To Enter:
The eSpaceTickets.com contest begins December 1, 2008 and concludes on February 19, 2010 at 5:00 PM.
Only one entry per person. Each contest entry must mail the printed form signed by a parent or guardian of the entrant no later than 10 days after to completing the on-line entry form. http://www.eSpaceTickets.com/SpaceCampSignUp.htm Each entrant is required to submit an essay, the entrants will have the option to increase their score by creating a graphic, producing a video, helping to recruit other students or helping to promote the purchase of the eSpaceTickets. It is not required of the entrants to do every contest. Each entrant will be assigned a number, that number must be attached to each contest entered. eSpaceTickets.com will email entrants complete instructions for students that may wish to participate in additional contests.

Essay Question:
In what ways do you think the Space Tourism Industry will have an impact on your future?
Essay Entry Criteria:
Essays may be hand written or electronic submitted. All essay entries must be the original work created by the submitting entrant. Essays must not have been previously published, submitted in any other competition, previously won any awards or infringe upon any other copyrights. Essays may be no less than 100 words and not exceed 400 words. All submissions become the property of eSpaceTickets.com.
Graphic Art Criteria:
We will select entrants between the ages of 12-18 who create a banner or graphic that helps to promote the eSpaceTickets.com "Adopt-A-Student" project.
Graphic Judging Criteria:
Judging will be based on Internet votes and based on the independent judges. The independent judges will base their on creativity, originality, clarity of idea and image, use of color and use of space. eSpaceTickets.com reserves the right to modify vote counts for entries which are not deemed unique.
Graphic Submission Requirements:
All graphic submissions must be in digital form (format should be any acceptable web image format that is able to display on the website), and it must be your own work.
eSpaceTickets.com reserves the right to remove any submission that is illegal, indecent, or other wise deemed to be an inferior submission in the Sponsor's opinion. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for incorrect, lost, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries.
Video Criteria:
We will select entrants between the ages of 12-18 who create a short video that helps to promote the eSpaceTickets.com "Adopt-A-Student" project.
Video Judging Criteria:
Judging will be based on Internet votes and based on the independent judges. The independent judges will base their on creativity, originality and clarity of idea. eSpaceTickets.com reserves the right to modify vote counts for entries which are not deemed unique.
Video Submission Requirements:
Place your video on YouTube or any social Internet network site (MySpace). eSpaceTickets.com will e-mail to all multimedia contestants the polling code. The video must be your own work.
eSpaceTickets.com reserves the right to remove any links from the Internet that is illegal, indecent, or any other imagery deemed to be an inferior submission in the Sponsor's opinion.
Recruit Other Students:
We will select entrants by their efforts in helping to inform other students about this contest. eSpaceTickets.com will e-mail the entrants the instructions on how to participate in this contest.
Eligibility:
The contest is open to all students who are 9-18 years of age as of the date of entry.
Judging and winner selection:
All eligible entries received will be separated into the three age groups, 9-11, 12-14 and 15-18 and judged on the Internet and by a panel of independent judges. Eighteen-year-olds may not attend a youth program at US Space Camp® beyond the summer of their high school graduation year.
Dates of camp :
All 18 winners must attend US Space Camp® at the same time.
Grand Prize:
Eighteen winners will be awarded in each age group: 9-11, 12-14 and 15-18. Winners will receive an excellent aerospace learning program to US Space Camp® in Huntsville, Alabama to attend Space Camp®/Space Academy®/Advanced Space Academy® for a 6 day program.
Prize consists of round trip airfare to Huntsville, Alabama with ground transportation to the US Space Camp, accommodations for 6 Space Camp® nights and 7 exciting Space Camp® days, 3 daily Space Camp® meals, Space Camp® flight suit, $100 in the US Space Camp® gift store. Approximate prize value: $1700. These authentic-looking flight suits are representative of what real astronauts and jet fighter pilots wear. The blue camp suit comes with official Space Camp and NASA patches. If a winner can not attend Space Camp® the runner-up will make the journey to the US Space Camp®. The FINAL GRAND PRIZE will be awarded when all 18 Space Cadets return from US Space Camp®. The FINAL GRAND PRIZE will be a $5,000 college scholarship fund. This will be publicly awarded to the student that has demonstrated his or her ability to do their very best.
Acceptance of Prize:
This offer constitutes permission to use the entrant's name, demographic information, likeness and/or entry, for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation. Each winner's parent or legal guardian must agree to The Rules and sign all required documents. By entering the contest, entrants agree: (i) to be bound by all the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges; (ii) to release and hold Sponsors and their agents harmless from any and all liability losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising from their participation in the contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage; and (iii) to be contacted by Sponsors and their agents by mail, telephone, and/or email regarding the contest.
